Kathryn Gleason is in her first term as First Vice President and is entering her eighth season at Michigan State University, the last six of which have been spent as the Associate Head Coach for the Spartans.
Since joining the Michigan State staff in 2004, Gleason has worked primarily with the infielders and has helped produce six All-Big Ten selections and five Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Region honorees.
Prior to moving to East Lansing, Gleason spent three years as an assistant at Purdue University and the four years prior to that as an assistant at the University of Massachusetts. While at UMass, Gleason helped guided the Minutewomen to four Atlantic-10 titles and two Women's College World Series appearances.
Gleason is a graduate of the Universtiy of Michigan where she played for the Wolverines, while earning a degree in sport management and communications.
Gleason was part of the 1995 and 1996 Michigan teams that won the Big 10 championship and qualified for the WCWS. She was also named a captain of the 1996 Wolverine squad.
Gleason also has a master's degree in sport management from UMass and has previously served on the NFCA Executive board as the second vice president and assistant coaches representative.
