Kelly Ford

Bio: Kelly Ford began her first term as the California Junior College Representative in January 2009 and is heading into her 10th season as head coach at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, California.

While at Mount San Antonio, Ford has led the Mounties to four Calfornia Community College State Championships. In addition, Ford has been honored four times as the South Coast Conference Coach of the Year.

During her tenure at Mt. San Antonio, more than 50 players have gone on to play softball at the senior college level.

Ford herself is no stranger the sport having won two NJCAA national championships as a player at Central Arizona College. After junior college, Ford transferred to the University of Oklahoma where she was a stand-out outfielder and a CoSIDA Academic All-American.

Upon graduation from Oklahoma, Ford continued her education and received a master's degree from Azusa Pacific University.

Prior to taking the helm of the Mounties, Ford spent several seasons as an assistant at Oklahoma, Cal State Northridge and Cal State Fullerton.
