Staff and Instructors Staffing involves NIU seventh year head coach Christina Sutcliffe, her staff, and members of the 2019 Huskie softball team. Sutcliffe is in her seventh season at the helm for Northern Illinois University. The Huskies finished the 2018 season as runner-up in the Mid-American Conference Tournament. Sutcliffe has led the Huskies to the MAC Tournament in each of her first six seasons at NIU. The Huskies finished the 2018 season with two All-Great Lakes Region honorees, two All-MAC players, two MAC Championship All-Tournament Team selections, one CoSIDA First-Team Academic All-District honoree, ten Academic All-MAC players, one MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete recipient, ten student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC team, and six recipients of the MAC Comissioner's Award.

Additional Information The 2019 Summer Skills Camp is will focus on both defensive and offensive fundamentals and advanced skills to mold a solid all-around athlete. To kick-start the day, campers will get the chance to hit front toss on the field as well as participate in a Q&A with current NIU student-athletes. Next, campers will be led through a throwing progression and receive position-specific instruction. In the afternoon, campers will go through an offensive drill circuit in the cages and have the chance to put what they've learned during the day to test in simulated scrimmage games.
