NFCA High School Leadoff Classic Tournament Endorsement Requirements
Requirements of Tournament Host:
- Add “NFCA” to your tournament name (i.e. NFCA Texas High School Leadoff Classic)
- NFCA trademarked logo must be used for promotion of tournament - CLICK HERE for logos
- 75% of all head coaches from each participating team must be an NFCA member by the tournament start date - CLICK HERE to join the NFCA. First-time members will receive a promo code for 50% off the first year of membership.
- Select, coordinate, and communicate with participating teams
- Coordinate tournament game schedule
- Send NFCA proof of insurance
- Schedule, coordinate, and pay umpires
- Schedule, coordinate, and pay athletic trainer
- Provide the NFCA a complimentary exhibit booth (if applicable)
- Create, print and distribute tournament program
- Minimum of eight teams required for NFCA endorsement
Requirements of the NFCA:
- Provide national media exposure through our nfca.org website and social media
- Provide one champion and one runner-up team trophy
- Assist with marketing and promotion of the tournament via social media
- Post a tournament press release on our website and in our publications after the event
