NFCA HALL OF FAME COMMITTEE
Composition and Duties of the Hall of Fame Committee per the NFCA Bylaws:
a) Composition and Selection. The Hall of Fame Committee shall be chaired by the First Vice-President. It shall consist of nine members — one from each group of active members with board representation, each elected by majority vote of the members of her/his respective group. The President and Executive Director shall serve as ex-officio members of this committee and shall have voice but no vote.
b) Terms of Service. The First Vice-President shall serve as chair as long as she/he remains in office. Committee members shall be elected for a two-year term, with a maximum of two (2) consecutive terms.
c) Duties. It shall be the duty of the Hall of Fame Committee to:
(1) Establish criteria and procedures for inducting individuals into the NFCA Hall of Fame. Submit written criteria and procedures for selection of honorees to the Executive Board for review, and to the active membership for approval (majority vote).
(2) Select a Hall of Fame Class for each year that there are qualified nominees.
(3) Plan and conduct the “Hall of Fame and Honor” Banquet at the Annual Convention.
