2012 NFCA/Louisville Slugger/NWAACC All-American Procedures and Timeline
There will be 12 players selected from our four different regions combined (two pitchers, one catcher, four infielders, three outfielders, one DP, and one utility player). This is a team comprised of the TOP 12 players in the NWAACC! Limit your nominees to three per team at the most and no player for more than one position (i.e., pitcher or utility, not both). Send back your nominees (with Final Stats) no later than Sunday, May 13th at 6:00 pm via email. Forms sent in after 6:00 pm will not be counted.
Ballots will be sent out on Sunday, May 13th by email. Vote and send your results by email no later than Monday, May 14th at 6:00 pm. The championship will be hosted by Chemeketa Community College at Delta Park from Friday - Monday, May 18-21. The NFCA NWAACC All-American Team will be announced at the NWAACC Softball Banquet Thursday May 17th.
NFCA/NWAACC All American Timeline:
April 11 - Renewal date or become a new member. Coaches must have this in by due date in order for your athletes to be eligible.
May 1 - All American Nomination form emailed:
May 13 - All American Nomination forms due back NLT 6:00pm:
May 13 - All American Ballots/Coaches Ballots emailed to coaches:
May 14 - All American Ballots/ Coaches Ballots due no later than 6:00 p.m. PT
May 17 All-American Team named at NWAACC Championships:
*Please remember that if your team does not participate in either the preseason or crossover tournament, you cannot nominate a player from your team. You must also be a current member of the NFCA to vote for on the All American Ballot
