Arizona continued to top the NFCA's Simulated Ratings Percentage Index as compiled by mathematician Warren Nolan.

The Wildcats secured the top spot ahead of UCLA, who currently sits in the No. 1 position in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Softball Poll. Texas stays in third, while Alabama comes in fourth in the ratings.

Pac-10 foes Arizona State and Oregon State come in fifth and sixth, while Northwestern holds the No. 7 position. Tennessee, Michigan and Georgia round out the RPI's top 10.

The Pac-10 continued to rate as the top conference in the country, with the SEC following closely behind in second. Those two conferences were followed by the Big 12, ACC and Big Ten.

In addition to topping the RPI, Arizona also sits atop the strength of schedule ratings. UCLA, as in the RPI, sits second while another Pac-10 squad, Oregon, rates third. Cal State Fullerton and Alabama round out the five toughest schedules in the country.
