Hollowell, Sallinger Eye 100 Career Wins

Moving Into The Century Club 
A pair of stellar pitchers are looking to move into the 100-career victory club this weekend. Arizona's Alicia Hollowell and Georgia Tech's Jessica Sallinger each have 98 career wins. Earlier this season, Louisiana-Lafayette's Brooke Mitchell and Fresno State's Jamie Southern became the 39th and 40th players to win 100 career games. Courtney Blades (Nicholls State/Southern Mississippi) holds the all-time record with 151 career victories. 

Scarborough Does It Again 
Texas A&M freshman Amanda Scarborough captured a second National Player of the Week honor and led her team to its first appearance in the USA Today/NFCA Top 10. The ninth-ranked Aggies knocked off Baylor behind her 3-for-4, two home run, four RBI performance. In the circle, Scarborough went 3-0 in three starts against ranked teams. 

The Real Pac-10 Season Begins 
This weekend marks the first weekend of intra-conference action in the Pac 10, with many matchups involving ranked teams on tap. Stanford and California travel to Arizona and Arizona State, while UCLA and Washington visit Oregon and Oregon State. 

Southern Showcase 
Playing first base and pitching in the doubleheader against Dartmouth, All-American Jamie Southern led Fresno State in every offensive category last week. With a team-high four runs and four hits, she also shared team-high honors in RBI (2) while being one of two Bulldogs to collect a double. Notching five total bases for a .714 slugging percentage, Southern was the only Bulldog to have a multi hit game in both games against the Big Green. 

Tearing It Up In the SEC 
Lindsay Cameron continues as Florida's top hitter in conference play. In Florida?'s six conference games she has had no fewer than two hits in a game. Her perfect 3-for-3 performance in the second game vs. Ole Miss was the second straight game with a perfect hitting percentage. She had a home run in each game this weekend for a 1.700 slugging percentage. She has hit a home run in four of her last five games. Cameron had Florida?'s game winning hits in the 12-0 win on Saturday and the 2-1 win on Sunday. 

Runnin' Rebel 
Marissa Nichols hit .714 during UNLV\'s five games at the Stanford Invitational and extended her hitting streak to 10 games. Nichols leads the Rebels in all major offensive categories and only added to her totals with 10 hits, three doubles, a triple, three home runs, seven runs scored, eight RBI and 24 total bases. She swiped two bases to remain perfect on the year at 22-for-22. Opponents pitched around her hot-hitting and walked her four times. She had a slugging percentage of 1.714 and an on-base percentage of .778. In left field she had 13 putouts and one assist.
