Tufts University, Boston To Host NFCC Course 402 - Advanced Analysis of Individual Fundamental Skills

Tufts University will host National Fastpitch Coaches College Course 402 - Advanced Analysis of Individual Fundamental Skills. One of just two Division III schools selected, the course will be offered Jan. 15-17, 2005 on the Boston campus. 

Participants enrolled in the course will learn how to analyze and teach individual fundamental skills. Those enrolled in the course will also learn and examine rules related to fundamental skills. 

The course will also allow participants a forum to discuss progressions, drills and coaching cues for the teaching of fielding, throwing, receiving, pitching, hitting, bunting, slapping and effective base running. 

The instructors for the course include gold medal-winning USA Olympic and University of Arizona coach Mike Candrea, Hofstra coach Bill Edwards, Lori Sippel, associate head coach at Nebraska and John Tschida, head coach of the defending Division III champion St. Thomas (Minn.).
