Oklahoma City Wins Third Consecutive NAIA National Championship

Two errors in the top of the eighth inning led to the go-ahead run as Oklahoma City defeated Point Loma Nazarene 2-1 Wednesday in the championship game of the 2002 NAIA Softball National Championship at Kissimmee, Fla. The win gives Oklahoma City its third consecutive national championship and seventh in the last nine years. Lindsey Voss, who was named tournament Most Valuable Player, tossed a six-hitter and struck out nine for Oklahoma City.
