The Big 12 named Scott Hennigar coordinator for softball officials.

Steve Miller was hired as an assistant coach at Marietta.

Nicholls State chose Lauren Koelemay as an assistant coach. Koelemay has served as an assistant at Cave Spring (Virginia) High School for two seasons.

Colgate tabbed Carolee Morse as an assistant coach.

Saint JosephÕs (Pennsylvania) added Ken Rhoades as an assistant coach.

Bob Beck hired as head coach at Georgia State, succeeding Phyliss Guedry. Heck formerly guided the program from 1983 to 1998.

Texas San-Antonio named Misty Snider assistant softball coach.

Matthew Weiner named assistant softball coach at Wichita State University. Weiner spent the previous four years as an assistant at Humboldt State.

Tallahassee Community College (Fla.) named Lori Goodart head softball coach. Goodart, the second softball coach in the nine-year history of the TCC program, replaces Maria Mendoza, who announced her resignation prior to the start of the 2001 season. Goodart spent the last two seasons as the top assistant at NCAA Division II Columbus State University (Ga.).

Central Michigan named Melissa Gentile assistant coach and Jenny Bouck graduate assistant. Gentile served as a graduate assistant at Central Michigan last year and replaces Jodi Swagel, who left to pursue other career interests.

Emporia State University announced Jo Kord has stepped down as head softball coach to concentrate on her position as director of university recreation programs at the university. Kord has spent the last nine years as both head softball coach and recreation programs director at the school.

Laura Fillip named head coach at Wisconsin-Parkside.

St. Joseph's (Pa.) named Moo Moyer softball coach.

Texas San Antonio named Casey Dickson assistant softball coach. Dickson previously served as interim head coach at Nicholls State.

Stacy Gemeinhardt named graduate assistant coach at Emporia State.

Bridget Baxter named head coach at Fordham. Baxter previously served as head coach at Cabrini, where she and her staff were named 2001 Speedline/NFCA Division III East Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

Southern Indiana named Sue Kunkle head softball coach, replacing Beth Watson, who left to take a position at the University of Central Florida.

Brenda James named head softball coach at Indiana Tech.

Ann Pedersen, assistant softball coach at Arizona State University the past seven seasons, has announced her resignation. Pedersen says that she wants to spend more time with her newborn daughter and is going to explore different career opportunities. Third-year assistant coach Michelle Gardner will take over Pedersen's first assistant position.

Middle Tennessee State announced the resignation of head softball coach Karen Green.

Dave Pyles has been named softball coach at Rio Grande (OH)>

Kalamazoo (MI) named Tracy Ciucci head softball coach.

Frank Reed, who has led numerous youth and collegiate softball teams to national championship tournaments, has been named head softball coach at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Pam McCreesh has been named softball coach at Brown.

Sam Houston State named Bob Brock head softball coach.

Rick Krasny has been named the Head Coach of Dominican College (NY) a member of NCAA Division II and the (CACC) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. Krasny had been assistant coach at Iona College.

Charlie Wieners announced his retirement as head softball coach at Saint Joseph's (PA).

Former LSU All-American Ashlee Ducote has been hired as an assistant coach at that school.

DeSales (PA) named Rachel Turoscy head softball coach.

Heather Rakosik named head softball coach at Ohio Wesleyan.

Baylor announced the resignation of pitching coach Brandi Landry.

Maryland-Baltimore County named Joe French head softball coach.

Jennifer Wells named head coach at Pittsburg State (KS).

Franklin and Marshall announced the resignation of head softball coach Kathy Kroupa.

Mary Ann Jennings resigned as head coach at the University of Mobile.

Upper Iowa named Brent Kuker head softball and head women's tennis coach.

Tara Laposa was appointed as head coach at New Jersey City, succeeding David Salvatore, who resigned. Joe Salvatore and Frank Parisi also resigned as assistant coaches. The school named Kerri Kuhlsenassistant coach

Cal State Hayward selected Cara Hoyt as head softball coach.

Chandelle Schulte was selected as head coach at College of Charleston

Nichols College (MA) hired Katie Hebert as head coach. Hebert, who replaces Mindy Robinson, is a 2001 graduate of Assumption (MA), where she was a three-time all-Northeast-10 shortstop.

Danielle Stines was added as an assistant at North Carolina-Greensboro. Last season, Stines was an assistant coach at Elon.

Hofstra named Larissa Smith assistant softball coach.

Kristy Howard Schroeder named head softball coach at UC Santa Barbara. Schroeder closes a three-season tenure as head coach at Truman State with a 133-34-1 record

Pfeiffer University (NC) named LuAnn Mott head softball coach.

Adam Roorbach has been named the new head softball coach at Bethel College (IN). Roorbach was previously the head coach at Andrew College (GA).

Mercer (GA) named Tony Foti head softball coach.

Freddy Flores is the new head softball coach at Western New Mexico University.

Purdue names Kathryn Gleason as second assistant coach. Gleason played at Michigan and was on the coaching staff at Massachusetts.

Deanna Gumpf named head softball coach at Notre Dame. Gumpf takes over for Liz Miller, who retired last month. Gumpf had been an assistant on Miller's staff.

Fred Gillum named head softball coach at Mars Hill College (NC).

Nebraska Wesleyan University names Lance Kingery head softball coach.
