Position Announcment: Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd and Scripps Colleges (CA)

Head Women's Softball Coach

Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd and Scripps Colleges (CMS), an NCAA Division III institution competing in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, is seeking applications for the position of head women's softball coach. This position will also have additional responsibilities as an assistant coach in a second sport or administrative duties as assigned by the Athletic Director, as well as teaching activity courses in the physical education program. This is a full-time, non-tenured position beginning July 1, 2000.

Responsibilities include administration of all aspects of a women's softball program such as recruiting, scouting, practice and game preparation, and budgeting.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Previous coaching experience necessary, with preference given to candidates with collegiate coaching experience. Candidates must be familiar with Division III philosophy and committed to running a successful program in a highly competitive academic environment.
