Position Announcement: Fairleigh Dickenson University (Teaneck-Hackensack Campus)

Fairleigh Dickinson University (Teaneck-Hackensack Campus), an NCAA Division I institution and a member of the Northeast Conference, seeks a Head Women's Softball Coach (part-time). Under the direction of the Director of Athletics and the Rothman Center, this position shall assume full responsibility for the development, organization and management of our newly created women's softball program. With the inaugural varsity season commencing with the 2000-01 academic year, we are seeking an energetic individual to lead this program from inception in accordance with the rules and regulations of the NCAA, ECAC and Northeast Conference.

REQUIREMENTS: Baccalaureate degree majoring in physical education or substantial applied experience; 3-5 years of softball coaching experience at the intercollegiate level; knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations; commitment to support the academic progrss and development of student-athletes and evidence of recruiting success in softball programs. Salary is commensurate with experience.
