Four consecutive singles sparked a six-run fifth inning as Texas Wesleyan rallied from a three-run deficit to defeat Emporia State 7-4. Emporia State broke a 1-1 tie in the fourth inning on Temple Stevenson's three-run homer.In the bottom fo the fifth, Michelle Betik hit a one-out single to start Texas Wesleyan's hit barrage. Marcia Villa's three-run homer in the bottom of the second inning broke a 2-2 tie and Tarleton State held on for the win over Regis. Christi Weiser led off the game with a single and scored on an error to give Regis a 1-0 lead. After Tarleton State converted two errors into two runs in the bottom of the first, Jessica Beddo singled home a run in the top of the second to tie the game, setting the stage for Villa's game-breaker.
