Alicia Petersma drove in six runs - four coming on a first inning grand slam home run - and Marcia Villia added four runs batted in to lead Tarleton State past Southern Arkansas. Tarleton State's first three batters of the game all singled to start the game and Petersman cleared the bases with her home run. Villa collected four hits, including a three-run homer in the fifth.

Texas Woman's 5, Delta State 1

Michelle Martin doubled home two runs in the first inning and Leslie Roddy added a two-run single in the top of the seventh to lead Texas Woman's past Delta State. Blaire Beaty tossed a six-hitter and extended Texas Woman's shutout streak to 20 consecutive innings in the tournament before Delta State's Teresa Anderson singled home a run in the bottom of the seventh.

April Beard's two-run bases-loaded double broke a 1-1 tie and highlighted a four-run sixth inning to lead Oklahoma Panhandle State past Southern Indiana. OPSU pitchers Tasha Coles and Faith Zaragoza combined on a three-hitter. USI starter Katie Roberts had a two-hitter through five innings.

UC Davis 7, St. Mary's (TX) 6

Sharlie Cunningham's rbi-double sparked a six-run first inning and UC Davis withstood a frantic rally to defeat St. Mary's. Jennifer Bovolick doubled and scored in the top of the fourth to give UC Davis a 7-0 lead. St. Mary's struck for six runs in the bottom of the fifth as Elizabeth Card's two-run triple and three UC Davis errors helped pull St. Mary's within a run. St. Mary's put runners on first and third with one out in the bottom of the seventh, but relief pitcher Danielle de la Porte pitched out of the jam to seal the win.
