Oustanding Division II Performances

Julie Fromm, pitcher, North Dakota State: Fromm posted a 6-0 record with one save and a 1.06 ERA during the week. She recorded 46 strikeouts and two walks in 39 2/3 innings, striking out 10 against Walsh and nine against Winona State and William Penn. At the plate, Fromm hit .444 and was 3-for-3 in a 13-5 win over then-No. 4 West Florida. North Dakota State went 8-1 during the week and won the Lady Argo Tournament.

Karissa Hoehn, pitcher, St. Cloud State (Minnesota): Hoehn has charted a perfect 5-0 record this season for the Huskies. She has beaten Missouri-Rolla, Missouri Western, Pittsburg State, New York Tech and Adelphi. She has allowed just six hits in all those games, and no earned runs. Though Sunday, Hoehn has carded 61 strikeouts, an average of 12.2 per game.

Leslie Schmidt, outfield, Northern Colorado: Schmidt went 3-for-5 (.600) in a doublehader vs. Fort Lewis on March 8. She was 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored, four RBI and a stolen base in game one, and was 1-for-2 with a run, two RBI and a stolen base in game two. Northern Colorado has won 10 of its last 12 games to improve to 10-6.
