NFCA Announces 2012 Top 10 All-Academic Team Rankings

LOUISVILLE, Ky. Division I’s Robert Morris University registered a 3.609 team grade point average (GPA) during the 2011-2012 academic year to lead all colleges in the 2012 NFCA Top 10 All-Academic Team Rankings.

The NFCA Academic Awards program honors both collegiate and high school teams for their submitted GPAs from the 2011-2012 academic year.

Leading the way in NCAA Division II was Grand Canyon University, which turned in a 3.600 squad GPA, while both Fontbonne University and Emerson College guided NCAA Division III at 3.59.  Spring Arbor University (NAIA) and Illinois Central College (Junior College) rounded out the collegiate divisional winners at 3.586 and 3.531, respectively.

In the high school categories, Alexander Central High School (N.C.) nabbed top honors among programs with weighted GPAs via a 4.300 GPA, while Olathe North High School HS (Kan.) proved the tops among non-weighted schools with a 3.890 GPA.

Listed below are the top 10 teams in each of the seven categories (NCAA Division I, II and III; NAIA; all junior college divisions; weighted high schools and non-weighted high schools).
