NFCA Announces Official Partnership with NCSA Athletic Recruiting
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, has announced NCSA Athletic Recruiting as its official recruiting education partner. NCSA Athletic Recruiting, along with its team of over 350 former collegiate and professional athletes, offers a new softball-specific division that will be working directly with the NFCA to provide the softball community direct access to invaluable recruiting tools and expert advice from the industry leader in college recruiting technology and education for more than 42,000 college coaches and 500,000 student-athletes in 27 different sports.
“Utilizing online platforms and mobile technology, the NFCA/NCSA partnership will provide a fair, equitable starting point for every player in the country regarding: recruit education, softball education, and performance measurables. Regardless of what team they play for or what tournament they attend; equal exposure for all. Anytime you create a paradigm shift it takes anywhere from 3-5 years. Our softball community will need to be patient as we start to build a community based on accurate and timely information for the prospect and her family, “ Sue Enquist said. “NCSA and NFCA share a common mission of helping athletes maximize their potential through the lessons learned on the field and together we will be able to empower more athletes to get ahead through softball. This world class partnership and mobile phone app will not only be able to help the NFCA and their athletes but the entire softball community.”
NCSA Athletic Recruiting is the world’s first Athleadership Network that changes lives by building leaders through sports and connects students and their families along with high school and college coaches and the business community for the purpose of maximizing athletic scholarship opportunity and life’s potential. NCSA is the leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches across the country. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 90% of NCSA Athletic Recruiting-verified athletes go on to play at the collegiate level. In addition, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process each year through educational resources on its website, www.ncsasports.org, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar “College Recruiting Simplified,” and the book from NCSA Athletic Recruiting, “Athletes Wanted.”
