Arizona Stays No. 1 in NFCA Simulated RPI

2007 NFCA Simulated Ratings Percentage Index

Arizona continued its reign atop the 2007 NFCA Simulated Ratings Percentage Index, while Alabama, the nation’s No. 1 team, moved back up to No. 2.

The weekly NFCA RPI can be found here. Records include games through Apr. 30.

The Wildcats lead a trio of Pac-10 squads in the top 10 of the weekly ratings index compiled by mathematician Warren Nolan. Arizona State joins UA in the top 10 at No. 8, while UCLA moves up to No. 10 this week.

Tennessee, the No. 2 team in the USA Today/NFCA Top 25, joins Alabama in the top 10, coming in at No. 4. LSU dropped out of the top 10 as DePaul moved up to No. 9 this week.

Oklahoma comes in at No. 3, while conference foe Texas A&M rates at No. 6. Northwestern and Michigan land at Nos. 5 and 7, respectively, this week.

UCLA’s move into the Top 10 solidified the Pac-10’s hold atop the conference ratings. The SEC comes in second, followed by the Big 12, ACC and Big Ten.
