Cal Baptist Maintains Top Ranking in NAIA Poll

 NAIA Top 25 Softball Poll

California Baptist earned 10 first place votes to remain No. 1 in this week's NAIA Top 25 Softball Poll, followed by a tightly contested race for the second position between Oklahoma City and Lee (Tenn.).

Despite earning one more first-place consideration than OCU, Lee is this week's No. 3 team, earning 287 points to OCU's 291. At No. 4, Simon Fraser (B.C.) fell only one point shy of Lee with 286, while Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) fell one spot to round out the top five.

Five new faces dot this week's poll, led by Vanguard (Calif.) at No. 11 and Shorter (Ga.) at No. 13. Thomas (Ga.) jumped into the poll at No. 20, while Bellevue (Neb.) and Campbellsville (Ky.) came from previously unranked to round out the Top 25 slate.
