BATS Testing at Administered Recruiting Camps
The Baseball/Softball Athletic Testing System (BATS) will again be standard at NFCA ADMINISTERED camps. All administered camp athletes will be tested in the following categories: Agility, Speed, Throwing Velocity, Grip Strength, Batted-Ball Velocity, Leg Power, Rotational Power, and Body Composition/Lean Body Mass.
The raw scores for the Agility, Speed, Overhand Throwing Velocity and Muscular Strength as well as Catcher Pop Times and Pitcher’s Speed and Spins will be posted on the NFCA website within 7 days of the conclusion of this camp. To get a complete BATS report , please see the next paragraphs.
A BATS REPORT is a detailed evaluation of ALL BATS TESTS (agility, speed, overhand throw, muscular strength, body composition, power, rotational power and batted-ball velocity) as compared to a national database of like-aged players. This report also includes a BATS SCORE, which allows athletes to see how they “stack-up” against the national competition.
Athletes desiring a BATS REPORT should go to www.athletictesting.com and register to receive this report for an Early Bird price of $29.95. The price graduates up to $49.95 for this same service if paid on camp day. Use the online promo code: Early
