Continuing Education Units

You also can receive continuing education units through TWU. Each class contains 16-20 hours of instruction, or 1.8-2.0 continuing education units.

Check with your state licensing agency before applying for CEUs to make sure that your particular school district will accept out-of-state credits. There is an additional $35 per course charge for CEU credits through TWU.

Texas Woman's University
Master's Degree in Kinesiology with an Emphasis in Coaching

Program Requirements:

Complete eight NFCC courses;
TWU graduate courses totaling 36 credit hours;
All coursework will be taken online.

Fees and Tuition:

One-time $30 graduate school admission fee;
Graduate student tuition of in-state is $198 per credit hour and out-of-state is $479 per credit hour (if there are at least seven Texas residents in the cohort, then the out-of-state fee will be waived and all students will pay in-state tuition rates).
Minimal course fees for both in-state and out-of-state students;
Tuition-fee may increase after the first year of the program.

Prerequisites:

Official transcripts, two letters of recommendation, a current Vita/resume and a minimum 3.0 GPA for the last 60 hours of undergraduate study and a 3.5 GPA for all prior graduate work.

National Fastpitch Coaches College
Four-Star Master Coach Program

The program consists of four levels, beginning with a One-Star Master Coach and ending with a Four-Star Master Coach designation. Certificates are awarded yearly, and the lists are updated each January after the NFCA National Convention.
