Since their debut in 1993, the NFCA's camps have been one of the most popular ways for high school athletes to showcase their talent to college coaches. We offer three types of camps: Classic, Academic, and EXCEL Camps
The NFCA Classic and Academic camps are fully administered by the NFCA staff from the registration process to on-field direction. The Endorsed Classic camp will be run using strict NFCA standards and managed by an outside group in conjunction with the NFCA
In the NFCA EXCEL camps, players will be provided both hitting and defensive instruction. Defensively, players will select the position of choice for this intense, unique learning opportunity from college coaches. The afternoon will be filled with opportunities on the field, as players will compete in games. NFCA staff handles registration and collegiate coaches varied per camp will do On-Field instruction.
NFCA Leadoff Classics
Each year, the NFCA's Leadoff Classics gather top teams from around the country for three days of highly competitive softball action at one site. In 2017, the NFCA is shifting to a two-year model for its Classics. The Division II and III Leadoff Classics will alternate every other year at various locations around the country chosen by their respective division’s membership, while the NAIA and Junior College Leadoff Classics will be similarly paired and alternate each year at the South Commons Complex in Columbus, Ga.
In 2019, the Division II Leadoff Classic is being held Feb. 8-10 at Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, Fla., followed by the NJCAA Leadoff Classic, March 8-10 at the South Commons Softball Complex in Columbus, Ga. Additionally, the premier of two High School Leadoff Classics will take place in Bryan and College Station, Texas (Feb. 14-16) and Newark N.J. (April 5-7).
