Special Projects

Kelley Fisher, currently the Guest Services Manager at the Old Forester Distillery in downtown Louisville, is the lead on the NFCA’s Special Projects and oversees committee involvement.

Fisher joined the NFCA in October of 2013 as the Director of Membership and served in that position for three years prior taking a position with the Semper Fi Fund. In her capacity with the Association, Fisher played a pivotal role in the restructuring of the NFCA Committees and the revision of the NFCA Bylaws, as well as the early stages of the revamp of the All-America program.  Additionally, she manages the NFCA’s committees working closely with the nominating committee to fill vacancies as well as overseeing the voting process for the NFCA’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee and All-America Committee.

Fisher, who served four years as a Communications Officer in the United States Marine Corp, worked as the Director of Vacation Delivery and as a Revenue Manager for the Marriott’s Timber Lodge and Grand Residence Club in Lake Tahoe, Nev. She also spent time as the Assistant Director for Sport and Development programs for USA Field Hockey and the Sports Performance Manager for the U.S. Olympic Committee. Just prior to her appointment with the Association, Fisher was the Guest Services Manager at Churchill Downs Racetrack.

Fisher, a 1994 graduate of James Madison University, enjoyed a four-year collegiate field hockey career with the Dukes, helping JMU to a NCAA Division I national title in 1994.
