Heather Tarr  has guided Washington to seven Women’s College World Series appearances, since taking over the reins of her alma mater in 2005. She steered the Huskies to a 2009 WCWS title and a runner-up finish in 2018. The all-time winningest coach in UW athletics history has led the Huskies to 659 wins and five 50-win seasons. Tarr has tutored 28 NFCA All-Americans, including two time USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Danielle Lawrie, seven Pac-12 Players of the Year, and 84 All-Pac-12 honorees. Additionally, Tarr serves as an assistant on the U.S. National Team and the 2020 Olympic squad heading to Tokyo. She was inducted into the Little League International Hall of Excellence in 2019.
