2014 NFCA Northeast Academic Camp at Pennsbury
The difference between the two Pennsbury camps are the additional academic requirements that a prospective player must meet in order to be accepted into the Northeast Academic Camp at Pennsbury. These requirements are outlined below:
Applicants must have scored a minimum test score on one of the following:
**Please note: These academic standards are set by the college coaches that attend this camp, and the NFCA is not able to grant any exceptions. If you do not meet the test score requirement and have plans to retake your tests, you may apply, but your acceptance will be based on your final test score.
Freshman and Sophomores, who have not taken any of the standardized tests mentioned above, may still be considered for acceptance into the Camp. Freshman and Sophomores should complete and submit an online application, AND submit, via email, supporting documentation that will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Such documentation should include a list of current or past advanced placement or honors classes, membership in any organizations based on academic ability (National Honors Society, etc.) as well as a letter of support from a current teacher of any of your CORE classes. To email the Camp Director additional supporting material please click here.
Honors and AP classes strongly encouraged.
Due to the unique nature of this Academic recruiting camp, PITCHERS should be aware that you are unable to utilize a CATCHER that is also taking part in the camp due to the conflicts of activities. Please plan on making other arrangements, as the NFCA cannot provide you with a catcher.
