The Oklahoma Sooners got a complete game three hitter from Kami Keiter to knock off 21st-ranked Florida State 3-0, clinching the No. 1 seed in championship play at the 2005 NFCA Leadoff Classic at the South Commons Complex in Columbus, Ga. 

All six pool winners went 3-0 in pool play, including Oklahoma, who will face Seton Hall in the first round of the Gold Championship Bracket. Other first round games in the Gold Bracket include Georgia vs. Louisiana-Lafayette, Michigan vs. Creighton and Florida State vs. Fresno State. 

Alabama dropped a hard fought 6-4 decision to upstart Creighton in a battle of tournament unbeatens. The Crimson Tide earned the No. 1 seed in the Silver Championship Bracket, and will face eighth-seeded North Carolina. 

Other first round matchups in the Silver Bracket include Southern Illinois taking on Cal State Northridge, San Diego State facing Oregon and UMass taking on South Carolina. 

Defending Leadoff Classic champion LSU dropped a 5-2 decision to Fresno State in a game in which every run came via a tournament record six home runs. The Tigers are the No. 2 seed in the Bronze bracket, and will face Michigan State in the opening round of bracket play. 

Lehigh faces Texas State, Georgia Tech faces Nebraska and DePaul plays Florida Atlantic in other Bronze Bracket games.
