The NFCA NATIONAL CONVENTION

The NFCA National Convention is the largest gathering of fastpitch coaches & exhibitors on earth. This four-day event boasts expert speakers, drills sessions, networking opportunities, social events, awards, an exhibit show, and much more. The Convention features numerous ways to get better as a coach, whether you are a rookie coach or a seasoned veteran!

An engaging keynote address, stellar speaking lineup, largest Exhibit Show (sold out for fourth straight year) in softball history and memorable Hall of Fame speeches were just a few of many highlights that made the 2019 NFCA National Convention another success. Attendees gathered for four days of learning, sharing, networking and socializing at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City. 2019 featured 27 percent more education, including two Drills, Drills, Drills sessions and first-time speakers in the Exhibit Hall.

What is Convention?

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

The Convention will kickoff on Wednesday evening with the "First Pitch: Opening Welcome" that will feature a Keynote Speaker. Previous speakers have included: Holly Rowe (ESPN), Jessica Mendoza (ESPN), Bret Ledbetter (What Drives Winning).
FORUMS TO DISCUSS CHANGES & THE FUTURE OF THE SPORT

NFCA member groups and various committees will conduct their annual in-person meetings, while attendees will come together for several full-membership discussion events, including the discussion of issues surrounding softball at the Softball Summit presented by USA Softball on Friday.
MENTORING WORKSHOP

Take part in one of our most popular events — our mentoring workshop. Coaches with varying levels of expertise participate in a roundtable setting where everyone can benefit from the discussion of important coaching topics.
AWARDS

Join us in celebrating our coaches. The Convention features an Awards Brunch and Hall of Fame Dinner. Celebrate the induction of the 2019 Hall of Fame class, witness the announcement of the upcoming inductees, and help recognize milestone wins and other coaching accolades.
NETWORK

Coaches come together in a variety of formats to discuss, network, and celebrate with one another. Meet new people or catch up with your oldest friends at one of the many networking opportunities. Prefer a business setting? Attend your divisional caucus! Seeking a casual conversation? Grab a cup of coffee and have breakfast with your colleagues. Looking for something a little more vibrant?
