LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The NFCA connected with approximately 450 travel ball coaches during the coaches breakfast prior to week one of the Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) National ChampionshipsPremier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) National Championships.

Appreciative for its opportunity to meet and address the travel ball community, the NFCA values its partnership with PGF, an annual convention sponsor and co-host of our Thursday evening reception. The PGF National Championships, held in Huntington Beach, Calif., features six age groups,] split into two weeks of action.

“The travel ball community is very special to the NFCA,” said executive director Carol Bruggeman. “Coaches at the grass roots level have a great deal of influence on student-athletes and ultimately the growth of the game.  The NFCA is committed to serving travel ball coaches in their quest for excellence.  A special thank you to NFCA official convention sponsor PGF for providing us the opportunity to visit with this valued group."

NFCA Travel Ball liaison Emily Allard spoke with coaches at breakfast prior to their draws for the tournament (18U, 12U, 10 U). She emphasized the opportunity members have to use their voice within the association and the importance of education for the betterment of their student-athletes and the game itself.

“I want to extend a special thank you to Dan Hay and his staff for allowing the NFCA to have a few minutes in front of the coaches at their premier event,” said Allard. “PGF has been an integral part of our Convention and organization over the last few years and we were honored to be a small part of their special week.
