Bellevue's Payton Gibbs and Wenatchee Valley's Amber Writer were named the NWAC Softball Players of the Week for contests played March 26-April 2. Additionally Gibbs was selected as the Under Armour Softball Player of the Week.

Gibbs collected four wins with three complete game victories last week. The sophomore hurler posted a 0.50 ERA and struck out 28 in 28 innings of work. Writer hit .474 with nin his, three home runs, 15 RBI and 10 runs scored, keying the Knights to six wins last week.
