LOUISVILLE, KY. – Currently riding a 46-game winning streak, the Cougars of Alexander Central (Taylorsville, N.C.) held on to the top spot in the USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 for the third straight week.

With its season now underway, Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, N.J.) recorded four wins and proved this week’s biggest mover, skyrocketing from No. 24 to No. 16. Also making a significant move was Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, Ohio), which climbed from No. 21 to No. 15.

Entering this week’s poll were Columbia (Lake City, Fla.), American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.), Sahuaro (Tucson, Ariz.), Curry (Curry, Ala.), and North Davidson (Welcome, N.C.).

The USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 Poll will be released every Thursday through June 5.

The USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 Poll is compiled by state representatives from across the country. Records for this week’s poll include all games played through April 7, 2014.
