LOUISVILLE, KY. –  For the fourth straight week, the Cougars of Alexander Central (Taylorsville, N.C.) hold on to the top spot in the USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25.

Continuing to tally wins, the top six remained unchanged, while with their seasons in full swing, Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, N.J.) and Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, Ohio) continue their climb up the poll.

Entering this week’s rankings for the first time were Verrado (Buckeye, Ariz.), Halls (Knoxville, Tenn.), Vacaville (Vacaville, Calif.) and Huntsville (Huntsville, Ala.). After dropping from last week’s poll, P.K. Yonge (Gainesville, Fla.) recorded three wins and returned at No. 15.

The USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 Poll will be released every Thursday through June 5.
