LOUISVILLE, KY. – Still atop the poll, the Cougars of Alexander Central (Taylorsville, N.C.) defeated North Davidson (Lexington, N.C.) 2-0 in the best-of-three series and move on to the state 4A title game where they will face Cape Fear (Fayetteville, N.C.).

Amador Valley (Pleasanton, Calif.) defeated Granada (Livermore, CA) 2-1 to capture the California CIF North Coast Selection Championships and secure the No. 2 slot.

With a win over previously ranked No. 6 Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, N.J.), the Braves of Indian Hills (Oakland, N.J.) enter this week’s poll at No. 14.

This will mark the last 2014 USA Today/NFCA High School Top 25 Poll for 2014.
