The Amateur Softball Association announced Tuesday the final six invitees that will participate in the USA Softball Women's National Team Camp, May 30-June 3 at the ARCO Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. USA Softball will use the camp to select two 16-player teams to represent the U.S. in international competitions this summer.

The six athletes selected to attend are Courtney Blades, Baton Rouge, La. (University of Southern Mississippi)
Kristin Farber, Los Alamitos, Calif. (Arizona State University)
Lindsay Gardner, Katy, Texas (University of Texas)
Jarrah Myers, Carbondale, Kan. (University of Notre Dame)
Melissa Taylor, Petersburg, Mich. (University of Michigan)
Jaci Welsh, Phoenix, Ariz. (University of Tennessee, Chattanooga).

They replace five athletes who declined last month's invitations to the camp: Ashli Barrett (University of Oklahoma)
Lisa Carey (University of Oklahoma)
Andrea Loman (University of Notre Dame)
Amanda Scott (Fresno State University)
Becky Witt (Fresno State University).
