Bracket play began late Saturday afternoon at the NFCA Leadoff Classic with Florida State claiming the top seed in the Gold Bracket. LSU, Georgia, Michigan, South Carolina and Central Michigan also claimed pool championships.
The Seminoles open bracket play against fifth-ranked Oklahoma. The Sooners were the runner-up in Pool 4 to Central Michigan.
Michigan and South Carolina also face off in bracket play. Michigan went 3-0 in Pool 1 while South Carolina emerged from a three-way tie with Fresno State and Princeton to clain the Pool 6 title.
The homestate favorite Georgia won Pool 5, despite dropping a Friday night game to Cal State Fullerton. The Bulldogs face Central Michigan, who knocked off Oklahoma on Friday.
LSU stromed through Pool 3, knocking off No. 3 California 6-1 on Saturday. The Tigers open bracket play against No. 4 Washington.
In Silver Bracket Play, California plays Nebraska, Notre Dame faces Princeton, Georgia Tech plays DePaul and Fresno State squares off against Texas.
Defending Leadoff Classic champion Massachusetts faces Florida Atlantic in Bronze Bracket Play. Northwestern State faces Army, Ohio State and Virginia Tech will tangle. No. 24 Cal State Fullerton will face No. 18 Arizona State in the Bronze bracket.
