PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – Despite finishing pool play on Saturday morning, the remainder of the second of the 2012 NFCA NAIA Leadoff Classic at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach, Fla., was postponed due to inclement weather.

With the canceling of Saturday’s game comes an adjusted schedule for Sunday that will allow the tournament to be played to completion. Bracket play will begin at 8 a.m. CT followed by games at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and the championship games at 2 p.m.

Before the rain moved in to the area, pool play wrapped up at Frank Brown Park with William Carey, Auburn-Montgomery, Trevecca Nazarene and Central Baptist claimed the top seeds in the gold bracket.

Earlier in the day, Martin Methodist earned its way into the gold bracket by taking down Notre Dame (OH), 8-0 in five innings. Megan McKean played a key role in the win for the Redhawks, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs and a double.
