Diamond is designated the “Official Protective Equipment” of the NFCA, including catcher’s gear, batting helmets and umpire’s gear. As a part of the agreement, Diamond continues to sponsor the NFCA Diamond Sports Catcher of the Year awards. This award is presented to each athlete of the respected college and high school levels of play at the annual NFCA convention. The renewed agreement extends a relationship that Diamond and the NFCA began in 1995.
