2007 NCAA Division II Softball Championship Bracket 

Defending national champion Lock Haven will aim to make it two straight as the Lady Eagles are one of the final eight teams that will compete in the 2007 NCAA Division II Softball Championship Bracket beginning Thursday in Akron, Ohio. 

The tournament kicks off with a bang Thursday, as LHU, the No. 2 team in the NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll, opens against top-ranked Columbus State. 

LHU is one of three teams that competed in the final eight in 2006. SIU-Edwardsville will open against fellow 2006 participant Florida Southern. 

LIU-C.W. Post, making its first finals appearance, will challenge 2004 national champion Angelo State, while Nebraska-Omaha and Cal State Stanislaus will battle in the nightcap.
