The sun finally decided to shine after rain dampened this tournament on more
than one occasion. Central got on the board in the top of the third on an
Anne Legg double to deep left field and a bunt from Bri Kuyper that scored
the pinch runner, Shauna Dyjak from seconed. The Sea Gulls had a runner in
scoring position in the bottom of the fourth, but couldn't capitalize. The
bats remained quiet for both teams through the top of the seventh as Lister
and Hysell battled for the championship. Hysell struck out six Sea Gulls and
Lister seven. Central left four on base and Salisbury left five. The Dutch
stayed alive and forced the if necessary game.

**There was no post-game press conference.
