The regular season is winding down with only a few weeks left before everyone is in postseason play. There are several enticing matchups all over the country as teams vie for regular season crowns and top seeds in their respective tournaments. Additionally, Division II and Division III has NCAA Tournament bids on the line as league tournament play opens this week.
In Division I, there are several intriguing top 25 matchups, along with nine head-to-head battles between the top two teams in their respective conferences. Along with three conference tournaments, Division II has a top-25 contest in the Gulf South and a key twinbill in the NSIC. In Division III, some league tournaments were conducted earlier this season, but there are three this weekend with the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 8 teams in the country as the top seed.
Over in NJCAA, Region tournament action heats up, along with a top five cross-division test as NJCAA D1 No. 5 Tyler hosts NJCAA DII No. 2 LSU Eunice in a pair of twinbills. There are also nationally ranked matchups in NAIA and NWAC.
