Indiana University of Pennsylvania catcher Sarah White has been named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II National Player of the Week for the week of April 19-25. 

A sophomore from Frankfort, Ill., White led the Indians at the plate last week with an 11-for-14 (.786) performance as IUP took three of four games from PSAC rival Slippery Rock. 

She accounted for seven runs and nine RBIs. Five of her hits were for extra bases, including three home runs. For the week, White slugged at a 1.643 clip. 

She went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in IUP's series-opening, 14-0 win over Slippery Rock. She followed that performance with a 3-for-4 performance in the nightcap, coming just a home run short of hitting for the cycle. 

She went a perfect 4-for-4 with three home runs iand four RBIs. in the series finale. On the season, White is hitting .320 with a team-leading eight home runs and 35 RBIs.
