Just as in the 12 weeks previous, Linfield dominated the voting to maintain its hold on the No. 1 spot in the final regular season NFCA Division III Top 25 Poll. Linfield was idle for the second straight week but is in the middle of a 36-game win streak and sits at 41-2 on the season. The Wildcats are the No. 1 seed in the Pella, Iowa, regional hosted by No. 5 Central and open play tomorrow morning against Anderson.
For the third straight week, the top five remains the same as well. At 40-2-1, Emory continues its seven-week hold on the No. 2 spot.The Eagles will make their run at a national championship appearance as the No. 1 seed in the Salisbury regional. No. 3 East Texas Baptist, the national champion a year ago, will try to get back to the final eight through the Tyler, Texas, regional. No. 4 Luther is the top seed at the Eau Claire regional, while Central will try to win its regional at home.
