UCLA pitcher Amanda Freed is the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I Player of the Week for the second week in a row.

During a week in which UCLA won two of its three Pac-10 games, Freed allowed only two runs in 15 innings pitched. At the plate, she led the Bruins with a .545 batting average (6-for-11) with two RBI and committed no errors in six fielding chances as UCLA lost an extra-inning decision to Stanford and swept a doubleheader against California.Image
