Florida's Jenny Gladding has been named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I Player of the Week for the week of April 14-20.

The junior from Palm City, Fla., led the 25th-ranked Gators to a key Southeastern Conference sweep of Tennessee. Gladding was also named the SEC's pitcher of the week for her efforts.

She tossed two complete game shutouts against the Lady Vols, including her first collegiate no-hitter on Friday night. She struck out 12 and walked only one, facing just two over the minimum. In the same game, gladding went 1-for-2 with a game winning home run in the sixth inning.

Gladding struck out nine in the series finale, and went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double. For the week, she hit .500 (4-for-8) and pitched 14 innings, striking out 21 while walking just four.

On the season, she leads the Gators with a 1.12 ERA and 18 victories. The two shutouts brought her season total to seven. She also leads Florida with nine home runs on the season.
