UCLA catcher Stacey Nuveman is the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I Player of the Week for the week of April 22-28.

Nuveman, a senior from LaVerne, Calif., hit her 85th career home run, tying her for first place on the NCAA Division I all-time home run list. Her record-tying homer came Saturday against No. 8 Stanford. For the week, Nuveman hit .667 (8-for-12) with two doubles, a home run and five runs batted in. She hit safely in all four games, including a three-hit performance against No. 5 California and a pair of two-hit games against Stanford. She also became UCLA's all-time career leader in games played with 250.

UCLA is ranked No. 1 in this week's USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25.
