Arizona State third baseman Phelan Wright is the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I Player of the Week for the week of March 11-17.

Wright, a sophomore from Los Alamitos, Calif., hit .700 (14-for-20) in six games last week to help lead the Sun Devils to the semifinals of the Kia Klassic. She recorded at least two hits in each of her six games last week, including a 4-for-4 performance against DePaul. She drove in nine runs for the week, which included a pair of three-RBI games. Six of her 14 hits were doubles. Wright drove in the game-winning run in the top of the eighth in Arizona State's tournament-opening win vs. Texas.
