-- University of Washington shortstop Jaime Clark is the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I Player of the Week for the week of April 23-29.

 

Clark hit .615 (8-for-13) for the week, leading the Huskies to a pair to victories over Portland State and upsets over No. 3 Stanford and No. 4 California. She had four runs scored, three doubles, two home runs and seven RBI for a 1.308 slugging percentage and a .643 on-base percentage. She was perfect in the field in 13 chances.

Clark's season batting average jumped from .338 to .364 over the weekend, and conference batting average went from .346 to .419.
