Columbia, MO --UCLA shortstop Natasha Watley is the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I Player of the Week for the week of April 9-15.

In UCLA's two wins over No. 13 Washington last week, Watley extended her consecutive games hitting streak to 24 while batting .500 (5-for-10) with three runs scored, a double, an RBI and her 36th stolen base of the season (extending the UCLA single-season record that she has set in consecutive years). Watley had a .600 slugging percentage for the weekend and a .500 on-base percentage while hitting second in the lineup. Defensively, she was perfect on eight chances with five putouts and three assists.
