Columbia, MO -- Arizona State designated player/pitcher Erica Beach is the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I Player of the Week for the week of April 2-8.

For the weekend, Beach batted .700 (7-for-10) with two doubles, two home runs, two runs scored, two walks and seven RBI as the Sun Devils posted one win against UCLA (6-1) and two against Washington (5-1 and 6-1), all on the road, marking the first time that ASU has ever swept the UCLA-Washington road swing.

Beach picked up her 14th pitching win of the season over Washington on Saturday and established a school career RBI record (116) with a home run against the Huskies on Sunday.

Beach raised her batting average 36 points over the weekend to .369. She leads the Sun Devils with seven home runs and is tied for the team RBI lead with 31.
