St. Cloud State University pitcher Karissa Hoehn is the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II Player of the Week for the week of April 24-30. Hoehn, who was named Division II Player of the Week for the week of March 13-19, becomes the first two-time winner of the award.

Hoehn, a senior from Stillwater, Minn., posted a 5-0 record last week, including a six-hit shutout (nine strikeouts) against No. 3-ranked North Dakota State and a one-hit shutout (12 strikeouts) against No. 16 Nebraska-Omaha. She also pitched a shutout against Moorhead State and allowed single runs in victories over South Dakota and Morningside. At the plate, Hoehn had two hits against North Dakota State and hit a two-run homer against Morningside.

For the week, Hoehn allowed one earned run in 31 innings for a 0.23 earned run average. Hoehn added 42 strikeouts to bring her season total to 376 and her career total to 1,313, the third highest career strikeout total in Division II. For the season, Hoehn is 30-4 with a 0.36 ERA.

St. Cloud State is 38-6 and tied for No. 17 in the latest NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll.
